Oooh it’s election fever in Crumble! The Crumble Bulletin Issue #2 Election Season takes readers on a surreal ride through the wonders of democracy – not as a deep, meaningful message about the failures of contemporary politics, oh no. It’s more about people beating each other up, and then a bunch of other people standing around watching it.
What’s Issue #2 about?
What’s it not about? Well, it’s not about man’s inhumanity to man, although there’s a good dose of that in there. It’s also not about the madness of extravagant modern election campaigning, the money wasted on it all and the cut-throat relationships between candidates. But again, there’s plenty of that in there!
Election Season is about the trials of finding a new mayor to run not just the hub that is Crumble, but the surrounding Central Oughta Go region as well. It follows the campaign shenanigans of four wannabe mayors, told from the perspectives of your favourite journalist Flynn, with help from his friends Melvin, Mary and ol’ Crusty Higgins.
Buckle up, amigos. The elections have come to Crumble, and the townsfolk have no idea what they are doing.
